ECS for the kids of the future
ECS has chosen to allocate part of its annual Christmas gift budget, traditionally for clients and suppliers, to Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. Specifically, ECS has committed to supporting a new local organization focused on adolescence: the association “Gli Sdraiati.” This decision is rooted in the belief that today’s youth represent the potential employees of tomorrow and that, with a little support, they can overcome challenges and look to the future with renewed confidence.
“Gli Sdraiati” is a team of experts composed of psychologists, educators, neuropsychiatrists, teachers, artists, and sports instructors, all united by extensive experience in addressing adolescent issues. Their mission is to help young people and parents navigate the challenges of growing up. They operate in Pavia with an approach that emphasizes personalization, attentiveness to individual stories, and the involvement of the surrounding environment.
The association supports teenagers in crisis, including those who are disengaged, defiant, inhibited, or socially withdrawn. They also work with minors under the care of Social Services due to criminal or administrative proceedings. All too often, these young people lose hope for the future and withdraw from school due to family or economic challenges.
ECS believes that, with the right support, these young people can regain motivation, resume their educational paths, and build a life plan with positive perspectives.

In addition to this new partnership, ECS is renewing its commitment to the Pane Quotidiano association in Stradella.
This organization, linked to the Parish of Saints Nabore and Felice, provides concrete assistance to people in need through food and other essential services.
